Spiritual Healing vs. Energy Healings

 

What is the difference? Well that depends on who you ask.  Many energy healing techniques are traditional or modern variations of Chi, Qi, Ki such as Chi Gung, Reiki or Pranic Healing. Clearly, Chi or the Life Force is inherently beneficial yet some aspects are a bit like electricity, in that it can be directed for beneficial or non-beneficial purposes.  Most martial arts push and direct Chi all the time, but it is not for Healing. In fact, one martial art variant, Dim Mak, aka Death Acupressure, uses knowledge of meridians and chi to invisibly deliver great harm or even death to an opponent hours or days later through the use of energy alone. Even in healing, while running a lot of Chi is usually beneficial, pushing is not always the best or wisest approach.  “When one has only a hammer, there is a tendency to treat everything in the world as a nail”.  The founder of Falun Gong, a Qi Gong practice with tens of millions of followers in China, recommends that people cultivate their Virtue rather than their Chi. Thus, a saintly person or true holy man will flow an immense amount of Chi, yet may have never spent a day practicing Chi Gung exercises.

Spiritual Healing is therefore more focused on cultivating Virtue or Love energies, which will then allow for greater and more appropriate flow of Chi without the healer necessarily over directing it or interfering with it. Focus is less on mere physical healing and more on on deeper spiritual aspects.  Less one-dimensional – more multi-dimensional.  While the effects of restoring harmony to the engergetic field have profoundly beneficial physical, emotional, and mental benefits, these are collateral effects of concentrating on spiritual and soul level clearing and restoration. Profound states of ecstasy and bliss are more frequent in this approach than in simply doing regular energy work.  Not surprisingly, I am much more interested in Awakening Consciousness than simple healing or pushing Chi. This work is multi-dimensional and is more concerned with activating your Consciousness and Soul Level clearing than simply making you feel better.  A wise old healer friend of mine who has probably performed over 100,000 healings once shared that unless a healing moves someone closer to SOURCE, unless it awakens someone to a deeper spiritual yearning, then the  “Energy Work” is not a healing but Interference.

Also, there is a tendency of recently popular healing systems to demystify healing energies & reduce everything to quantum mechanics or some neutral or “neutured” electromagnetic force.  There are certainly aspects of truth to these perspectives, and such new ‘psuedo-sciencey’ approaches have awakened a potential for many who would have otherwise been turned off by more woo-woo or religious overtones.  Yet in making such concepts less threatening, there is an overwhelming tendency to take Spirit out of the equation and by default – Love as well.  Love is the the fundamental master vibration from which all other frequencies emanate.  Love is not a mathematical and scientific construct.- rather math and science are constructs of LOVE. All 330 plus attunements i have received, all “new & improved” healing frequencies heralded as coming onto the planet now are, at most, simply new or different flowers coming into bloom in LOVE’s garden.  In some sense, these “flowers” are not new at all, only being discovered or revealed as we awaken to see them.

In my Life, i have been blessed by many direct  experiences of Source and the Oneness of all things. Always, it is the overwhelming experience of Love as the simple and single most important take home message.  Every other concept, every other construct of physical reality or illusion is window dressing laid on top of LOVE.
